Challenge
The City wanted to integrate multiple billing systems into a single solution. It desired to replace antiquated utility billing products with a system which would support the concept of one-stop shopping for their customers. Additionally, they wanted to evaluate the feasibility of moving to monthly billing.

Solution
TMG initiated a product evaluation and selection effort to assist the City in replacing their legacy CIS with a new product solution. The City had two systems, one being used by the Water Utility and a second being used by Public Works. As part of this process TMG reviewed the current environment, identified City strategies, developed a target environment, developed requirements, developed an initial cost/benefit model, completed a design blueprint, developed an RFP, evaluated proposals, and facilitated the solution confirmation activities with 2 finalists, SAP and SCT.

Result
The City selected the Indus (SCT) Banner CIS solution operated within a hosted environment provided by Indus (SCT) from their Columbia, North Carolina facilities.
