Challenge
The City wanted to replace a legacy billing system in time for the
year 2000. A previous CIS initiative had been a visible failure
with front page headlines.
Solution
TMG was hired as a third party to ensure a successful CIS implementation.
TMG assisted the City in a product evaluation and selection effort
resulting in the selection of the CUSTIMA CIS solution from DST
Innovis. TMG provided Quality Management installation services and
reported directly to the Utility Board during the 24 month installation
effort.
Result
The system was successfully placed into production in October 1999.
As part of this process TMG developed an RFP, assisted
in product evaluations, facilitated contract negotiations and provided
a quarterly QA review process during the installation effort.
