Challenge
The coop wanted to examine the options of replacing or retaining
the existing legacy billing system.
Solution
TMG was contracted to conduct an assessment of Salem Electric's
existing CIS system and determine if a new one was needed. TMG conducted
multiple interviews with key staff members and created an online
survey to all users of the CIS to identify current functionality,
usability and support.
Result
After collating the results and comparing the current system to
those available in the market, TMG recommended that Salem Electric
remain on its current system and not undertake a new CIS selection
effort.
