Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA)

Challenge
LCRA wanted an assessment of the feasibility of offering a centralized billing system and office functions.

Solutions
TMG was engaged to conduct a survey of its members in order to identify current systems, target environments, and requirements around the Texas retail market. Based upon the survey, onsite interviews, and walkthroughs of select customer operations, TMG conducted an analysis of the opportunities for LCRA to provide additional solutions or services to its customers. One of the possibilities was for LCRA to obtain a CIS capable of operating within a retail environment and offering on an outsourced or hosted facility basis to its customers. A formal business plan complete with the survey results, analysis, recommendation and next steps was delivered to LCRA completing the first phase of this project.

Results
LCRA decided not to continue with the effort due to lack of interest by their customers.
