Challenge
Green Mountain Energy Company provides “green” power
generated from hydroelectric, solar, wind, geothermal, and natural
and landfill gas facilities. To meet current and future business
needs, GMEC sought an integrated customer information system that
would support retail billing, customer relationship management,
customer care, commodity management and retail market interfaces.
Solutions
TMG brought retail market knowledge and experience to
the CIS application planning and selection process, applying its
tools and methodology to assess GMEC’s current environment,
formulating business and technology strategies, preparing an RFP,
and evaluating RFP submissions. TMG also provided GMEC
with alternative solutions, a cost/benefit analysis and a blueprint
for success.
Results
The company currently is making a determination about moving forward
with a new system.
