Challenge
Epcore wanted to examine the feasibility of continuing with a legacy
billing system and to determine what systems would be necessary
to support a virtual call center. Solutions would need to address
multiple utilities and product lines.
Solutions
TMG conducted a feasibility study regarding options involving application
architecture and future direction of UIS and how to best provide
the functions required to support customer operations. EPCOR implemented
an application architecture required to support its retail operations.
These efforts resulted in the implementation of Siebel Energy, LodeStar
LPSS and ITRON MVPBS with integration to a legacy Utility Information
System (UIS) providing billing, credit and collection, and accounts
receivable functions.
