Challenge
Brownsville wanted to prepare for Texas deregulation and have the ability to provide customers with exceptional levels of service. The organization wanted to implement a product within a short timeframe.

Solutions
TMG assisted BPUB in a CIS product evaluation and selection effort by developing a design blueprint, issuing an RFP, receiving and evaluating vendor solutions, conducting vendor confirmation activities, developing the installation plan, negotiating contracts and conducting presentations for solution approval.

Results
Following a 6 month effort the utility selected the Cayenta solution. TMG provided QA installation assistance to BPUB as they implemented the Cayenta UMS solution within a 12-month timeframe to position the utility for market opening.
