Arkansas Electric Cooperative

Challenge
AECC is wholly owned by the distribution cooperatives of G&T and supplies power to 16 electric coops. AECC wanted to develop a business strategy around the creation of an energy service company allowing the cooperatives to participate in retail access as a whole rather than individually.

Solution
TMG was hired to assist AECC and its owner cooperatives to develop a business case for their initiative.

Upon completion of the deregulation strategy, TMG assisted AECC in evaluating and selecting a comprehensive customer solution to support operation of the new energy company.

Results
This effort was terminated due to the status of deregulation in the state of Arkansas.
